The Lizard is a special place, it is a wild place.  It has exceptional plants and really interesting rare geology.  Dotted with the most georgous fishing coves like Cadgwith and Mullion it is to my mind one of the loveliest areas in Cornwall.  I painted this big watercolour 22"x31" on really fresh windy day near Gunawalloe Cove and yes the Oyster Catchers were there on the rocks!  There is no better sound than Oyster catchers.  Watercolour on paper.
