Last summer we were out walking in the Cotswolds it was a really hot sunny day and we came across these sheep sleeping in the shade, it was such a beautiful sight.  I cam back the next day and sketched the hawthorne hedge and noted the colours colours and added the sheep which were now at the other end of the feild. I then from this painted my biggest ever watercolour (which is in this collection).
