About Lesley Holmes

Having spent many happy years in Moreton in Marsh in the Cotswolds I now live on a smallholding in South West Cornwall with my husband and the animals that feature in my work. Inspired by the Cornish coast and countryside I hope my paintings capture the light and atmosphere of this very special part of England. I work from life when ever possible. My real passion is landscape and animals.  I am entirely self taught in the art of painting although I have had training in drawing.

The Theatre Gallery Chipping Norton.  Annual Summer Exhibitions at Lower Slaughter Village Hall 1990-2001.  Bi-annual exhibitions at The Lesley Holmes Studio 2002-2007 The Old Lifeboat Station Porthleven 2013-2020. Future exhibitions to be held at the Cornish Studio. Please enquire for details.
